🏁 Holmen Dirt Core Crew

Code of Conduct, Expectations & Accountability Charter

🎯 Mission Alignment

As Core Crew members of Holmen Dirt, we are the face, hands, and heart of the park. We commit to upholding and exemplifying our mission:

  • To build and sustain a safe, inclusive, and creative dirt jump and BMX culture where all riders can grow, connect, and thrive.

🔑 Core Crew Responsibilities

As a member of the Holmen Dirt Core Crew, you are expected to:

1. Lead by Example

  • Uphold the highest standards of respect, sportsmanship, and safety.
  • Be approachable, inclusive, and supportive—especially to young or new riders.
  • Maintain a positive and constructive attitude, both on and off the bike.

2. Ensure Safety and Structure

  • Monitor park behavior and intervene when rules are broken or riders are at risk.
  • Maintain a tidy, hazard-free space and coordinate repair or maintenance when needed.
  • Enforce helmet and gear rules without exception.

3. Contribute to Park Culture

  • Participate actively in events, build days, crew meetings, and training sessions.
  • Foster a welcoming, creative, and progression-friendly atmosphere.
  • Promote collaboration over competition and expression over ego.

4. Protect Our Environment and Community Relations

  • Respect local residents, nature, and park boundaries.
  • Model environmentally responsible behavior.
  • Act as a positive ambassador of Holmen Dirt to the public, city officials, and partners.

🧭 Accountability and Conduct Expectations

Holmen Dirt Core Crew members are held to a higher standard. All members agree to:

  • Uphold this Code at all times, regardless of role or status.
  • Speak up when witnessing unsafe, exclusionary, or disrespectful behavior.
  • Accept feedback from leadership, fellow crew, and community members constructively.

⚖️ Violation Protocol and Consequences

To preserve trust and integrity within the crew and community, violations of this Code will trigger a clear, respectful, and fair process:

Repeat offenses escalate consequences. A third warning (minor or moderate) within 12 months results in a formal review and potential dismissal from the crew.
